We have over four years of experience working with the Java platform and worked on both desktop and web-based Java applications. Java is a powerful and diverse language; however, we have been disappointed by the lack of support that consumer level webhosts provide for Java/JSP based projects. For that reason, we have found ourselves working less on Java projects recently. When we do work with Java, we prefer to work with the NetBeans development environment, although we are equally versed in the popular Eclipse environment.

• The custom CMS first used by the Bayshore Prep website (until August 2009) used JSP/Serlvets. After enduring poor support from webhosts, our team decided that we would port the CMS over to PHP.
