:: Background

We have over six years experience doing web design projects. We have adapted to the growth of web technology and are adept at providing solutions that fulfill asthetic as well as technical needs. This includes writing standards compliant, search engine friendly code that is efficient and understandable. We have a thorough knowledge of HTML and CSS as well as the quirks that go along with each when operating within specific browsers. We are also constantly increasing our javascript knowledge by working with popular libraries such as jQuery as well as implementing proven solutions from YUI and others.

We work with a variety of applications while developing websites. Every website begins in Photoshop and we utilize this tool to draw up a design and cut it properly to make the jump into a real working site. From there, code is often written and tweaked using NotePad++ and finally debugged using the Firebug addon for Mozilla Firefox.

:: Experience

  • Several design iterations for the Bayshore Prep website during the years we have worked with them. Our final design was used until August 2009 and is viewable in our gallery.
    • This included both designing the static site as well as designing the interface for the CMS that we also developed simultaneously.
    • Adheres to XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS 2.1 standards.
  • Design of the newly launched Global Agenda Access website.
    • This site required a complete theme for the SMF/TinyPortal software which forced me to expand on the software's layout while being unable to drastically change the core structure of the layout itself due to technical limitations and time.
    • It incorporates several YUI elements as well as various custom code additions and tweaks to achieve the required level of functionality.
    • Fully indexed by Google in under 24 hours.
    • Adheres to XHTML Transitional and CSS 2.1 standards.
